San Juan School District is now accepting registration for our upcoming 18th Annual Heritage Language Conference!
San Juan School District will be hosting its 18th Annual Heritage Language Conference to be held on April 13, 2012 at the Monument Valley Welcome Center in Monument Valley, Utah. The conference will benefit Heritage Language Teachers, School Administrators, School Board Members, Tribal and Community Leaders, Parents, and interested individuals. A new strand will be included this year for Social Studies Teachers. Break-out sessions for this strand will be held at Monument Valley High School.
Presenters include Pax Harvey and Herb Benally as keynote speakers, Rita Brock and Dr. Chuck Foster from the Utah State Office of Education, staff from the Navajo Nation Office of Dine Culture, Language, and Community Services, Shirlee Silversmith, Eileen Quintana, Clyde Benally, Dr. Clara Martinez, Dr. Bob McPherson, Robert Turk, Janet Wilcox, and Stan Bronson.

Purchase orders will be accepted. Early registration ends April 6, 2012. Registration is FREE to all San Juan County, Utah residents. The registration fee for out-of-county and out-of-state is $150.
